Footsteps
By the pathway old,
Beauty waits for me;
This much I am told,
Love shows what must be.
My curious heart speeds,
To meet and greet poise;
I stretch wants and needs,
Learn to frame my voice.
Waltz upon the way,
Meet strange and odd feel;
Buzz and boom now play,
Glimpse sheer waves that thrill.
Here upon these streets,
Spawns each face in mime;
Rouse a blank feat,
Bear the gist of time.
Footsteps in the mist,
Stray thoughts in a squeeze;
Mellow touch of gist,
Winding in the breeze.
