If I never wrote another word, praising this light who silences doubts… If I never felt the leading of His touch, The promise of His endless care… If I never knew what it is to feel the love that assures me He’s here, If I never felt the need to pray and praise… The One who lived and died, then rose again so I could stand… In His presence, in the promised land, one fine day, When this life has come to an end, When love leads me by my trembling hand, When He reassures me that I will live again…. If I never knew this peace that I have… I’d still follow Him through this life, I’d still follow Him, remembering His sacrifice. I’d still follow the One who took away all my strife. I’d still follow Him through this life – because without Him I’d be lost, without a hope, without a prayer, without a reason… To look forward to each new season, always believing… Always believing in the love that came down from above, The love that destroyed all fear, every doubt, all the reasons My heart might have – for questioning the love that I’ll soon find out… Is the only reason life is worthwhile, the only reason…. For God’s gift of His child, His Son, the reason for holding on… To the hope that destroys darkness and despair, The love that lingers in the heart who believes Him. If I never wrote another word, praising the One who came into this world – A babe in a manger, a light, the living word… If I never write another word, the last word I’ll pen is – Oh yes, my friend, I believe in Him – I believe in Him! I believe HIM!

Your strength and enthusiasm are like gentle waves rippling through your poem. I'd still follow Him, too. Your tribute and affirmations are brilliantly written both in form and structure. Well done, Gina! Have a splendid evening, hugs, Sara
