Matthew 16:24 “Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”
His light sparkles like stars above
Glowing from heaven, light of love
Wherever He goes, there is peace
“Follow Me” means I must decrease
Moving me to believe in Him
His love is alive in each hymn
Singing of light who’ll never cease
“Follow Me” means I must decrease
Alive, giving me cause to shine
His life was more than just a sign
Thankful, my soul He won’t release
“Follow Me” means I must decrease
His light assures me there is hope
Despite the grave, I can still cope
Since He saved me, He must increase
“Follow Me” means I must decrease
From above, He offers me grace
Undying love with each embrace
Without doubt, I’m His masterpiece
“Follow Me” means I must decrease
