Yes Lord I will follow You, knowing it’s the right thing to do. To the depths of my being, I know I will be true. I learned to really love You, and then I felt brand new. Knowing it’s the right thing to do, Yes Lord, I will follow You. Temptation had led me astray, in the past I was forlorn. Younger and selfishly rebellious, til our first child was born. It isn’t always straight forward, easy to divert by mistake. I smile knowing I chose correctly when I hear You applaud. Telling me which path to take, I hear You calling Lord. Your love is within me, where evil thoughts could start. I follow You, with all the love that’s in my heart. You teach me kindness and forgiveness and sympathy.
