I want my son to experience things I never had as a child - we need to tell them we are proud and boost their self esteem - I missed out in my childhood - it is only now my mum tells me how proud she is of me since i started writing my poetry:-( hugs Jan xx

I couldn't be prouder of my son Arthur, it is vital to tell our children, sadly something I didn't really experience in my own childhood so I make sure my son knows I am the proudest 'mum' in the world:-) hugs jan xx

Hey - I like it! I think I may have a poem in the New York Times tomorrow - I have been in there twice. New York has a "red light" district but it has been cleaned up recently. Peace & Love Matthew Anish

I think every parent wants happiness for their child. Hopefully we as parents have been a decent example and then from there it's up to them to make the right choices. Love the write Jan.

I agree with you Daniel we can only help them on their way in life we tried to give our son the best chance in life - he is the first in our immediate family to go to university and he has flourished and has shown what an amazing academic ability he has:-) hugs Jan xx

I believe you speak for just about every parent in wishing the best for their children. Sadly, giving some children their own wings, as did Daedelus to his often proves disasterous. Thanks for enjoying my dog poem, it's one of my better ones. / M
