Hi Anaya! So wonderful to get your message of congratulations and your delightful feedback! I was totally taken by surprise by the POTD! What a wonderful blessing. Lucky you to have played the flute! In 4th grade I had to make the decision to play the flute or the violin. The violin won but I have always wondered what would have happened had I chosen the flute. That being said I did end up second chair in the youth symphony orchestra. It is so wonderful to share music with you! Blessings to you!

Dear friend, R&R Bro, sending you notes of simple gratitude for your beautiful message! I have always loved the sound of a flute. Growing up I debated whether to play the violin or the flute. The violin won the debate but the flute has always had a special place in my heart. It is ethereal magic to me. It was true joy to write this poem concentrating on the breadth of emotions the flute can portray. I think the flute, more than any other instrument, can convey the full range of human emotions and experiences from happy jigs to deep laments, from spring zephyrs to howling winter storms. And, I agree, there is a spiritual element to flute music. I knew you would pick up on the spiritual elements of this poem So gratifying! The POTD is a true honor and a blessing!
