Flung Into the Purgatory-

Heaven I awoke and was flung into the purgatory The obscurity smiled It threw its ghost against the days Yet descending onto the surface My Jesus He said come unto me Rise out of this pit of hell Be free, repent one last chance Be renewed be birth again I shall raise you up Out of the fire Raise you up Out of this domain Raise you up Out of your sins Come unto my darling Heaven awaits Heavens for you Heaven just a breath away I awoke and flung the heavens gates The obscurity smiled It threw its ghost against the days I crave the hundred thousand, heavenward heap Take thy age from out my heart Suddenly, I heard some spotlighting Peering and peering with my gloom was shamed now I have a room Suddenly, I heard some desponding And so I screamed, 'Is that a lark?' I crave the sunnier, shady sunset there stood a divine trademark My Jesus He said come unto me Rise out of this pit of hell Be free, repent one last chance Be renewed be birth again I shall raise you up Out of the fire Raise you up Out of this domain Raise you up Out of your sins Come unto my darling Heaven awaits Heavens for you Heaven just a breath away 8/22/21 Written words by James Edward Lee Sr. 2021©
