you speak of light and lilacs unfurling in lines only the hail and storms within my soul dare to write ~ a nightingale nightmare, dream walking into the beloved palms of prose… but if I were your flower of flame, a mysterious fragrance wandering your field, must I bloom to the velvet wind ruffling above your sea of sonnets, whilst your words burn warmer than the sun’s rays spilling over lavender and lilies ~ one lone rose ~ loosening its ivory into ebony bloom… and tonight I ache to trust the soft sparks traveling through blushing bliss ~ the slow motions of a new romance, beyond time and moon-tears, where love has no name, life unlearns its fickle games, heart homes no hate nor shame, no longer victims of the forgotten and the forsaken…
