Floral Waterfalls

I thought to clip a rose
as I did, stopped to think,
would my clipped rose
be happy with a faucet
drink? A clipped rose
in a thermal made vase,
yet of glass pure sand remained,
I sensed, a blessed clear trace –
like sacred-core of a stone, like my
deeper earpiece, closer
to the bone, my personal
spirit-phone – a clipped
rose...by the window, in
a fancy wet gown; residing
in a new blossom place,

keeping close to home, God’s
many wondrous, tiered inner/outer space --
on my beloved, painted kitchen walls,
cascades
        of floral
             waterfalls --

Hell Joe! Enchanting! The clipped rose and the cascading floral waterfalls is so vivid and beautiful. I love how you explore the idea of beauty and connection and how a simple flower can embody deeper meanings of home and spirit. Your words flow like a gentle stream. Spring Blessings, My Friend, Daniel

Thank you, Daniel; Easter just around the corner. Watered a Lincoln Rose out in my front yard this morning, already full with lovely, huge red blossoms. I will pick some next week for the table and our celebration. Have a great day my friend!

Definitely a clipped rose in a thermal vase is a beautiful sight and it will decorate your room as cascades of floral walls adorn the kitchen walls. Beautiful images, dear Joe.

Flowers, blossoms are beautiful! In a vase, on the walls painted waterfalls, in a frame, in a lapel, a rose for glistening hair -- its all a delightful visual affair. Thank you, Valsa.

Love the way you turned this one around, Joe. Surely the flower is resilient and will be happy with its new environs.

How beautiful and unique is the way youv written this dear joe! I absolutely love the way it ends and the title as well as “ I sensed, a blessed clear trace – like sacred-core of a stone, like my deeper earpiece, closer to the bone,” such catchy cadence in your lines! And word choices here is exquisite! Pleasure always reading your poems! Sending you light always

Oh my gosh. Good thing I came back to this. I am so poor at text typing. I always end up writing lady when I mean LAST.
