Floating Forgiveness
down the jasmine river
the smell of orange blossoms
fruity perfume
wafts across your white canoe
floating through lillies
luscious with enchanting ideas
flowing through a canyon of dreams
lotus flowers crowd your bow
the porcelain twilight
catches in a tiger's eye
opal fire amid the tapering
fingers of the day
come my way
oh irridescent soul
nostalgic ghost of days
long gone
thy balm must bring surcease
trinkets tied upon thy wrists
jingle with sweet memories
hanging gardens await you
wreaths of cherry blossoms
turn your topaz eyes to me
I'll serve forgiveness in a tea
sterling silver
chamomile
come to me and live awhile
perhaps then I shall too.
