Flight
Flight
Far above mountain tops
I soar and circle
Embracing the air flow that
Encase around me like a cool blanket
Savoring the spectacular scenery before me
Snow patches linger
Journey through the forest treetops
Rivers and creeks that bend through the earth glimmer
Patches of flowers releasing their scent
Butterflies and bees dancing on the open petals with pleasure
Seeking the nectar and scattering pollen
Snakes lying under the cool rocks hiding from the sunlight
Creatures scurry through the tall grass with euphoria at
Treasures they gather
I swoop down and snatch my prey
To feed my eaglets
