Fleeing To Far Away
Within this war battered ocean rising century.
We're primed to seed another planet with flawed D.N.A.
Like drunken campers-we've trashed this one,
a great bear is closing in-flashing nuclear fangs.
Finishing off the writhing leftover souls
dripping like smores slipping into the coals..
Because the stubborn ones didn't listen
to the ancient ones' wisdom
to what was spoken in clay -stone-
papyrus and tea leaves.
Around the hearth of humanity, we're forced to flee...
from the claws of the great death bear
to a cold planet called (far away).
