Fires

My anger is like a wild raging fire, Burning everything in its path. Hard to put out and control. It grew when I was near you. You seemed to be the cause. Your words fed my fire. But you never took responsibility for causing my fire? You blamed me for being angry even if it was you who started it. You sparked it like a match in dry grass. You caused it to grow and burn down my forest. Even when the fire was tiny, it was still there because part of you was always around. Like a shadow, turn around, and there you were. You fed it and tried to control it, but it was wild, unpredictable. Then when my fire was out of control you let yours grow. Yours grew with mine until our entire world was on fire. And when the fire seemed to be gone, you would spark it. You lit the fire again by blaming me for all the damage that was also yours. Always starting the fires.
