Find Hope In the Lord
Devotional scars reap rewards in one's heart,
emotional trauma can bring two souls together-
when there is hope in the Lord, we shall not part
with the love he bestows in our life's endeavor.
I shall call upon my loved ones with faith forever,
they give with compassion that never falls apart.
When the devil breaks through the enemy lines,
and they wreak havoc to those who suffer in silence,
it's when we must not trust in their evil rhymes,
as they only show accuracy in constant violence.
In the Lord we must show complete reliance,
I've felt the end of days coming so many times.
BUT...
Show not discernment for those who are weak,
for they know not the loving Lord as we do-
we must teach them the holy words to speak,
bring then salvation and carry them through.
We may be yellow and they may be blue,
that's no reason not to show them hope's peak.
I pray for those who know not the Lord's Word,
the ones who never act with a conscience so kind-
for those who hold onto misery and are unheard,
may we help give them good faith in their mind.
I know the way to the Lord; it has been defined,
to show adoration and mercy we've endured.
