"Every struggle in my life has been a lesson,
and made me stronger." Quote _by Poet
my life a ravaged garden
I have been on a journey scarred
sometimes, I am lost in an ocean of emotions
and the drums of time roll and roll, on and on
yet, I drink from the blue sky
my grief will always be a chain that holds me
yet, this festering wound has made me a poet
I am battered and bruised
my soul scorched and blistered
yet, I find peace in nature
and I find a sweetness in the dregs of yesterdays
my parents were strong
even when unbelievable sorrow touched them
so, I am strong
yes, my soul is aching
yet, life is a lighted window of hope
at times I have been in deep dark pits of sorrow
but, I crawled out with my spirit bleeding and raw
I accept the yesterdays
I accept that I am scarred and my wounds are ever
and though I am broken- I have an incredible strength
so, I pick up my pen and write
the festering wound pours onto white
and I have found prayers
God, has carried me on my most terrible days
he was held my hand when I am afraid
oh, yes this journey has been scarred
but, this life also beautiful
