Feelngs I Can'T Hide

I feel that nothing gold can stay I witness wildlife gone away The life is not in my yard now I’m trying to absorb this somehow I keep writing, because it hurts I watch the devil, as it flirts I have never seen this, in time I can’t express it in a rhyme No birds are flying or singing None in the trees, hurt is stinging An eerie silence is around No squirrels scurrying on the ground These are things, I see each day They fled from toxins, now I pray For their safety during their flight For time to bring more in my sight No words can properly describe But, I write feelings I can’t hide Heidi Sands 2/20/23

So sad that the toxins destroyed so much of the wildlife you love, hugs

I agree with you, Heidi. No Jays, Woodpecker and very few finches in my garden for three years. Noticeably no bees last year and few butterfly. The woodlands are silent. People are commenting on it. Good luck in the contest. // Barry.

Thank you Barry. This is shockingly new to me. My area is a constant flurry of wildlife until recently. I hope all is well. I appreciate your visit :)

Wonderfully in the spirit of the contest theme, Heidi. Hoping there will be some remedy soon to help everyone affected.

Thank you Vijay. I appreciate your comment. I heard one Mourning Dove today and one small bird. But no activity. I put peanut butter out and walnuts too. No squirrels. I didn't see a activity as usual driving in town. The dirt beyond the snow and ice is black too! I saw evidence of toxic rain and tainted rivers on line in Ontario from toxic rain from plume :(

It’s getting scarier really and sad by the minute what’s going on. Heidi, I pray you’re safe and your lively backyard return. God bless always. Hugs :)

Hi, Heidi. Maybe it's time to take a little break from New Hampshire... When you come back, nature will start picking her head up again. She is VERY resilient. Here's to your welfare and inner peace. ~ Gershon

I can't do that Gershon. I have pets , health issues with doctors and financial issues too. Thank you for your kind comment. There is now an Explosion at a plant in Ohio with another toxic plume heading Southeast. People were injured too. I believe we are under attack. There are incidents that I haven't mentioned in other states too, in the past few weeks. Be safe :)

Heidi, Captured another's listless mood very well in this feeling lament in Rhyme. Though the loud woodpecker's bound to return with the jays. -Richard

Richard. It is very bad. There is wildlife activity ongoing every day where I live. There is suddenly none! No birds flying or in trees or on ground. No squirrels or any other. It is so shocking. 3 days of this now. Thank you for your visit and comment. :)
