as the tempests
of thought forms
gather momentum
we who created them
soon become powerless
to contain the toxins
that they so spew
consuming us
yet there’s a way
a resource available
immediate and intimate
by which we can extinguish
the demons we’ve created
whose fictional existence
is nurtured simply by
our own attention
