More Idioms
By; Tom
It’s nineteen degrees and sun won’t be shining,
it’s smooth cloudy and “colder than a frosted frog.”
I’m sitting here thinking of summer
when I’ll probably complain about it
“being hotter than a burning stump.”
While I’m recalling some of my past failures,
like “Putting socks on a rooster,”
and “teaching my German Shepherd how to bark in Spanish.”
Now that was harder than “burning a wet elephant.”
about as productive as “winking at a pretty girl in a dark room”
but “a wink’s as good as a smile to a blind mule.”
