my aunt was a prima ballerina and I was horrified the first time I saw her bruised and blue feet--such a contrast to the beauty and grace of her floating on stage in her tutu. Faving this one, hugs, Sara

Wow what wonderful memories you must have of her dancing! That’s awesome and so honored you faved Sara! I took toe dancing at a young age and quit before it ruined my feet.

Karen, the poem you wrote is superb. Your words eloquently conjure up the image of a dancer's feet, swollen but exhibiting extraordinary tenacity and elegance.

I can see through your words, a ballerinas feet bruised and full of strength and grace. I have nothing but admiration for their elegance. I love how you’ve wrtten this. Especially “ floating pink tutu toe dance“ so beautiful! Sounds like a senryu! Pleasure always reading your work
