A deeply felt twist to the contest, Nette !! Most of us think of feathers in a whimsical way, but this brings to light the cruel side of vanity! Well done !

I never liked those hats. I can see using feathers that birds naturally shed, but killing the birds just for its feathers is such a sin. A meaningful haiku Nette. Congrats on your win!

Your message is clear and the warning is heard...but alas unto deaf ears, for vanity all too often wins out over the welfare of the birds. Emile.

Very sad that we kill birds to have more beauty thereby we damage beauty of natural environment. A nice message too.7 also for this message. Good luck in the contest my lovely friend. Loved always,bl
