Farewell

chiudo i miei occhi solo per vederti in frammenti di ricordi mentre vanno alla deriva dentro e fuori della mia mente lo so nell'oscurità tu esisti come guardiano con le ali guardando ancora su di noi non sono pronto baciarti addio sempre più ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ i close my eyes just to see you in fragments of memories as they drift in and out of my mind i know in the darkness you exist as a guardian with wings watching still over us i'm just not ready to kiss you goodbye forevermore

Thank you Jeff...yesterday was bittersweet saying goodbye to one of my relatives... there are few left that can tell me stories of our hometown and share pictures of the past with me... hugs

The poem is beautiful in either language though I would really love to hear it read in Italian. Still a bit sad and heart touching but the soothing feel of your words adds a comfort to this that flows so softly.
