Far Away Friend Dear friend, we have never met, we only know each other... from online. A few words passed, back and forth in print. Pictures traded, and shared to show small moments of a whole life, somewhere else, that is not here. I wish that I could be there, sometimes. Maybe... just to have coffee, just to sit a while. To laugh about a funny joke, or eat pie together, home made, from the peaches in my garden. My friend, we are friends. That means more than you know. It means everything and nothing... all at once. Sometimes... all we can do is pray for each other. Distances prevent more. Yet, the Lord hears us... He hears every word, uttered, for another, in peaceful calm... remembrances of good days, and bad. He lifts you up for me, to higher places. He keeps you safe, and far from harm. You are prayed for dear friend. Even if we have never met. Even if we will never meet. We are still connected, in ways that can only be explained by the definition written on a lonely heart, and an otherwise, forgotten soul.
