I'm sensing a very dark undertone to this ... certain kinds of people say their "hail marys" as an excuse to do whatever they like. One thing I'm noticing about your work in general is you seem to do a good job alluding to things: there's just as much NOT being said, and sometimes that's the point.

Thank you Tim! I do believe in less is more, saying what I need to say in a way that lets the reader bring in their own experience, reading what they need or wish to read into my words. I am explicit when I want to be, and never fault a reader for an unintended interpretation. Once you let it go, a poem has a life of its own. xomo

"Can be worse!" My friend, a young widow, was told by the Catholic priest - in the same place & parish more than 5 years, "I can have sex with you & still do my priest job. No problems." First name SELWYN. I almost asked him last year ... but there was a looming SHUTUP. Maybe a SHUTDOWN?! Wish HE did ... LOL!
