Whispers of scarlet, orange and gold
Fall across the earth, crisp laughter
Reminding the soul to listen to the bold
Psalms of moments so often sought after
Gentle thoughts, kindness to behold
Cool winds create a colorful dance
Of brilliant trees, so vibrant and alive
As poets caress the pen with romance
Arousing feelings that seem to thrive
On joy, hope and ideas taking a chance
Glorious wings in hues of sapphire prayers
Open to the fires of a tangerine sunlight
Capturing the heart with faith that cares
Warming feelings with passion to excite
Leaving dewdrop dreams resembling tears
With a grace that kisses away all doubt
There comes a comfort that is a vow
Assurance that life will always work out
Even though the autumn raises a brow
With a love for the season we give a shout
