Falling

Falling Could you tell I was falling? Falling unwillingly into your trap? I didn’t know if they were lies, the sweet things you told me. You said you’d catch me if I fell but instead you let me keep falling. You say you’re going to be here through thick and thin. Even to hell and back. I’m falling and I can’t see the outcome. You say you don’t want to lose me yet you’re pushing me away. You say I mean the world to you but you have your sights on the sun. You say you’ll never leave me, even when the world ends but seems like it has come very close to ending. You say we’re meant to be but meant to be together or apart is the question.
