Dear Kim, impressive beauty in decay and change. I found it to be peaceful, reflective, and quietly powerful all at once. It made me want to step outside, listen, and see those colors for myself. Kim, this haiku is gorgeous in its simplicity. ??The phrase “rustling of relics” feels so fresh and evocative—it gives the leaves both history and beauty, while “opalescent hues” paints them with a jewel-like glow. A perfect autumn moment captured in three lines.
