Faith In the Storm

Author Dana Redricks November 22, 2019 In a blink of an eye my life begin to change The clouds seem to hover above like a thick blanket Lightning flashing Thunder roaring as depression tries to consume my soul As I float on the turbulent seas I look and from a distance and see shadowy figure coming towards me as it gets closer I can plainly see it is Jesus shining in all his glory approaching me He motions for me to come to him, my fears begin to subside and I step out on faith but as long as kept my eyes on Jesus, I stayed afloat Then I began see the storm and the troubles of this life all around me and begin to sink My Lord asked me why did I doubt he said was it because you thought I would not believe I would you out It is my faith in Jesus that keeps me anchored and my soul at peace Fear will keep us sinking but faith will help us to stand and place our feet on solid ground
