FAITH IN GOD WHO MAKES US GLAD
God makes us glad as we walk in His light
As our faith delights in His goodness-height
Truly thanking Him for pardoning our sinful blight
Toward testifying about His caring might.
God makes us glad in trusting Him whatever the situation
As our faith moves with honest intention
Truly inspired and not constrained by personal ambition
Toward pleasing Him along earnest dedication.
God makes us glad in sowing by His bountifulness
As our faith works along diligent zealousness
Truly toiling well, smiting slothfulness
Toward being enriched with good works’ fruitfulness.
God makes us glad in our cheerful giving
As our faith shows right attitude of genuine loving
Truly generous, always overcoming covetous craving
Toward sharing His Gospel while His grace, receiving.
God makes us glad in our fruitful stewardship
As our faith increases along our discipleship
Truly learning from His Word around His fellowship
Toward teaching others with our spirited worship.
God makes us glad in our sincere sacrifices
As our faith goes though right Biblical processes
Truly gaining great divine experiences
Toward engaging in wise choices.
God makes us glad in obeying His will with commitment
As our faith propels us for heavenly achievement
Truly exalting Him along our ministry involvement
Toward kingdom advancement of divine accomplishment.
