FAITH IN GOD WHO IS WITH US
IN OUR LIFE-BUILDING PURSUIT
God is with us in our life-building pursuit with His counsel
Truly enabling us to prevail against sorrow’s thistle
As we trust in His salvation through His epistle
Letting our faith overcome challenge’s hassle.
God is with us in our life-building pursuit with His goodness
Truly forgiving us of our confessed sinfulness
As we seek His sanctification along our righteousness
Letting our faith reflect His holiness.
God is with us in our life-building pursuit with His hand
Truly directing us by His heavenly command
As we strive to comply to His demand
Letting our faith increase upon Scriptural stand.
God is with us in our life-building pursuit with His instruction
Truly enclosing us around His preservation
As we obey His Word by His inspiration
Letting our faith discern perversion and deception.
God is with us in our life-building pursuit with His inheritance
Truly assuring us His power against evil resistance
As we depend on His ready assistance
Letting our faith perform midst His miracles’ stance.
God is with us in our life-building pursuit with His might
Truly charging us to press on toward servanthood-height
As we cling to His grace midst prayer-delight
Letting our faith do well against unbelief-blight.
God is with us in our life-building pursuit with His presence
Truly upholding us by His compassion-essence
As we abide in His victory’s license
Letting our faith glow in His triumphant iridescence.
