Explosive Glow

It had shone for a million years
Its twinkles were seen from afar
This orb shone brighter than the other spheres
 It was a' super' star

Having used up all its fuel
Forces began pushing and pulling it
 It will lose this duel
As its atoms began to split

Time catches up with all things
 Even stars have to go
 To its luster it clings
Ending in an explosive glow

A reality check; all that is born, in time will die. This prompts us to search for our eternal true Self, eternal living light, our true being, made in God’s image. Warmest congratulations on POTD, Joseph.

' Even stars have to go, to its luster it clings. ' So true. I find it awe inspiring in many ways, moments of the universe. Stars, the moon and planets. Breathtaking, indeed. Congratulations Joseph, on Poem of the Day. My best to you. : ) Hugs, Brandy
