Expertise Contest

My personal expertise Is some kind of hoodwinkery With myself Where I love to wing it Or believe I have Then the glory is all mine The essence of me won Not labours Or blood, sweat and tears Not knowing what I'm talking about But competently having the right gut feel The one second approach to gleening What is important I like discovering a natural ability Being untrained But accomplished somehow And the feeling I get That maybe If only I tried I could have made it At anything But of course that's not true Unless it is But it's not The for and against argument *Also a skill! Every "skill" is an accomplished art. If we watch a "skilled" plasterer do a job we think: "that looks easy". So cherish the "skills" you have and develop the ones you desire.

I know this is true. Partially it's really about transferable skills picking up the slack. I'm on the look out for creative writing course though to see whether having more of a clue about poetry will raise my game :)

I don't have your skill, but I understand it. Its like intelligence that you don't believe you have, but you do have it and you could have done those things, given the chance. You also have the ability to display it. Unafraid, to risk it, only you aren't risking it because you can do it ! I adore this poem.

I love your description! The only reason I wrote the poem this way is because I haven't cultivated any skills to write about :) thank you, I love the way you've perceived it :)
