I'm not a natural with a Limerick so I'll try and improve before the contest ends ---

Sleep in the day, I say because I tire Shh don't tell a soul that I'm a vampire Coffin lid ajar for air I'm safe enough in my lair Curtains not closed, ouch my balls are on fire (dud) There once was a vamp in a castle Who found biting necks quite a hassle So he bought blood in a bag With a pretty label and tag At Christmas it came with a tassel(dud) There once was a witch with a wart Who liked to tell jokes and hold fort She had all the bats laughin' Then the vamp in his coffin Surprised everyone with a snort

It was a challenge to get my head round but once I'd got the tune in my head I have about a 50% success rate of turning a ok one out :) glad you liked them

I shy away from them Hilda as I fail to be funny or keep the the rhythm but thought I'd stick at it this time and see if I could figure them out - thank you for your encouragement x
