I can feel Him… In the afternoon breeze, winds Blowing soft against my cheek, Whispering, sighing, inviting me To the gentling peace of silence, Faintly flowing, inspiring faith. In the beautiful trees, oaks and pines, Blessing my soul with echoes of light, Falling, a subtle hint of trembling insights, Awakening the spirit to the rhythms of promise, In my veins, the music of God’s voice – sweet chorus. In the lingering night skies, star sprinkled Laughing so the heart seems so vibrant, Stirring the spirit with the kiss of songs, Inviting the music from a heart who believes, The source of joy, falling from the night’s ivory breath. In the roses, adorned with cruel thorns, Beauties of nature, who God trimmed in hope, Lasting colors of light, stilling the moments, Blurred paths, startling the heart so satisfied With the wonders of a dream so alive it moves the soul. In the stunning reflections of a quiet pearl, Lost in the compassions of waters, drifting truth, Rivers of silence erasing the shadows who compose Poetry and promises sent to encourage the lost thoughts, Memories with purpose, washing the night in courage. I can feel Him In the sparks of light, Falling delicately, Piercing the night, With a brilliance… Only found in the heart who knows God is love and love is the reason I feel His presence in the stillness of the seasons, In the music, the poetry, the eternal reasons I am elated by the splendor that comes from grace… Grace so wonderous only God could kindle… The burning passion of a love that believes, A love that sees and a love that feels Him, The One who saves souls from eternity without Glory from knowing the light that never goes out!
