Everlasting

pink blossoms are budding on broken limbs and I marvel at the strength of old resilience she would be so pleased her peach tree survived a harsh year _____________________ For Deb's contest Kimo/lune 5/30/14

Great write. Nicely imagery. Having a degree in Horticulture, I particularly am in tune with this one. Happy to share the #1 spot with you.

Very nice, Carrie. I love my trees and seeing them bloom again and again and again. Congrats on your win. *my one tree also broke a branch very badly this spring, and I wish Joe would just take it down. It just hangs there and it needs to be removed.

Dear Carrie, that peach tree is bringing back some memories for you. I wish my stepmother hadn't chopped down everything my mother planted. At least the seeds of mom's four o'clocks return each year. This is a beautiful poem that obviously touched me deeply. Love, Carolyn
