Evening

EVENING Sun sinks, bids bye to evening sky. Twilight tends to fade, feeling shy. Being calm, birds stop chirping, wish rest. All are keen to return to nest. In array, eager egrets fly. Sadness prevails, crows cease to cry. Forgotten past knocks heart to sigh. Sun completes path from East to West. Sun sinks, bids bye. To reflect Sunrays Moon will try. Sparkling stars also glaze in ply. Tiny glow-worm glows warm at best. Memories of Love! Best asset. Sun sinks, bids bye. 04/18/22 Contest by Regina McIntosh
