Ethereal Emotion
Skin prickles, not from cold,
but a phantom touch.
A melody hums beneath the bone,
unheard by ears, only felt
as a shimmering ascent.
Ethereal emotion:
a weightless gravity,
pulling you toward a source
you cannot name, cannot see,
only sense in the hollow
of your own wanting.
It tastes like rain on dry earth,
a memory you haven't lived,
a truth whispered in a language
your tongue has never formed.
Is it longing? Is it grace?
This ache that elevates,
this invisible thread
tugging at the edges of your being,
reminding you of something
just beyond the grasp,
yet intimately known.
It lingers, a scent on wind,
a resonance in silence,
a question asked
without the need for sound,
leaving you breathless
in its profound,
unearthly embrace.
