Essence of Presence
Habit patterns, a calypso
Giving identity a glow
But that which was boon, is now bane
We feel incomplete and hollow
Twirled by fate bringing joy and pain
Drawn to the inane, we’re insane
Oblivious to who we are
Reborn here again and again
Seeing that silence bears no scar
We find God’s within, not afar
And we are as He, living light
Which always was our avatar
