Esperance

Awakened by esperance-hush silence
My heart seeks refuge in the Lord’s presence
Enclosed around His compassionate nest
Savouring sweet scent of prayer incense.
In a hopeful way, yet graciously blest
My faith ascends toward revival zest
Reaching-out with serene triumphant shine
Quieting murmurs of trial and test.
Now plunging into depths of peace divine
My soul sees miracles’ sovereign design
Magnificent as they sublimely flash
To be shared, smiting syndrome, “only mine.”
Yon tranquility that ripples hope-splash
My spirit defies skepticism clash
To march midst optimism-prevalence
Jubilant while vanquishing doubt-filled trash.
