Escape From Reality 2

ESCAPE FROM REALITY (2) I enjoyed my solitude I engaged my loneliness I sent my mind on an errand I breathed ... though heavily I sighed through my nostril Again, I summoned courage Wanting to restore my shattered dreams I hoped all my life ... all the time Even I hoped against hope itself Hoping it will hold still for me a modicum of hope Escaping once again through the wings of wind I concealed my lines of depression I am almost sure no one saw it No one saw those red eye balls of mine I am almost sure I was dreaming How do I wake up from my fantasy A clarion call into the world of reality I can no longer escape from it Time to face the fear that comes with my reality AST- 1.25am- @still at home in Berger, Lagos. 12th April, 2015
