Your skin is dark like you on the inside,
Instead of showing yourself off to the world, you run & hide,
& in me you'll always solemnly confide,
& this is because you know I'll always be by your side.
It feels like an eternity since I've seen your face,
A week too long without your longing embrace,
What I'm experiencing is not a phase,
A girl in love that will never win this case.
