Equation For Indifference

When you're constantly branded a racist because you're a white male you tend to stop listening when you're constantly labeled privileged (though they've never seen you leave for work at 2:30am nor the callous on your hands) you tend to listen even less. When I'm told I was born with a silver spoon tell that to my father who was as poor as a desert loon. and by the way my white ancestors never owned a slave and even if they had that wouldn't make me a racist, I have my own mind and I would hope that you do you. Having a difference of opinion doesn't automatically qualify me as a racist... so, you must say it in reflex to my white skin That in itself is the purist form of racism You only think about the color of my white skin then stamp on me your hateful labels. That is why my will to listen to you is fading. You're nothing but a race baiter. you've stopped listening you suffocate dialogue. Love and empathy is being overtaken by indifference and a darker shade of hate.

'Indifference and a paler shade of hate.' … None of us want to succumb to that, but unending anarchy and needless violence do point that way. Here's to something else, somewhere else! Thanks, Anthony! :) Gershon
