Enthusiastic Faces
Kids-at-heart; of all ages,
celebrate this Holiday.
For singing Christmas carols;
helps drive Winter's blues away.
After a shopping blitz, gifts
get stashed in secret places.
And smiles start to appear on
enthusiastic faces.
When kids are bribed to be good,
parenting feels less intense.
So, parents spin Santa Claus;
a lie in the kindest sense.
Garlands of mistletoe get
hung as symbols of passion.
And a bashful lover's kiss;
says flirting is in fashion.
Santa's sleigh is on its way;
led by Rudolph's shiny nose.
Bearing pretty presents tied
with ribbons and festive bows.
