Me, today, in my 81st year of my life!

ENJOYING OLD AGE





Whoever succeeds in adopting a positive attitude towards old age, 

The passing of years would not appear an earthly burden on him, 

But heavenly bliss.

Congratulations on your Happy 81st Birthday my dear friend, and congratulations on your POTD. These are wise words that ring true to me. I'll be 80 on my next birthday in Feb. My account has been locked until today, so I'm reading the POTD's from this last month. It's been a hard 4 months without being able to communicate with friends here at poetry soup. Demetrios I wish you much blessings on your birthday my friend. I just got back to posting and saw your POTD. Congratulations my favorite Professor. May the Good Lord richly bless you... As we get older sometimes there are physical challenges, but those challenges bring us closer to God. To help us overcome. Without some challenges some people would not know God, but in their desperation for healing they turn to him and start a relationship with Jesus that would have never been started without that illness or challenge...
