Engraved Upon His Stone
She danced upon the ground above his grave.
Freedom had been the goal to be achieved!
Within his drink her poison had been placed.
For he was old and no one would suspect.
A wealthy woman now she celebrates.
No gnarled hands to clamp upon her breast.
He had been fooled by her deceitful kiss.
For youth can be a drug when fueled by need!
Her skin had crawled but he did not suspect.
For she had concentrated on her goal.
The man a fool deceived by fantasy.
A ring upon her finger had been placed.
She did not wish her youth to fade away.
Or endure his old skin between her thighs!
A careful plan she put into effect.
Ten drops of potion placed within his gin!
She thought about the men she would enjoy
Until a hand did grab upon her foot!
Passion had reached her from beyond the grave.
He smiled and thought "she must be heaven sent!"
Upon the morn her family found her there.
They guessed she died because her heart had broke.
Now she would be with him eternally.
So they engraved her name upon his stone.
