Encounter
Our eyes meet
Glimpse most brief
Speed yet greets
Our plain grief
Our sad tale
Once lost here
Now in burst veil
In awkward spheres
Now way past old
We stare in daze
As blindness holds
An odd vain craze.
Soon off we go
To chapters fresh
And rightly so
In present dash
There lingers loud
Old echoes trace
A posture proud
A broken space
