Line of inquiry:
"truth imbibed
awaits assimilation
we feel it in our bones
in time dissolved meditation" by Unseeking Seeker
I find myself a quiet spot that I
might meditate in sweet tranquility.
In comfort on a bed of grass I lie
and trust that I have capability . . .
the capability to take things in:
to listen to the thought that cross my mind
and feel those things felt underneath the skin,
for mindfulness is what I need to find.
Of expectations I am letting go.
I feel my heartbeat with each breath I take.
I’m open to what comes as spirit-flow.
Nothing must I have to do with what is fake.
It’s truth I seek. What more can I desire
than that which comes so beautifully and bright
to wrap my soul and lift me ever higher
to that utter peace and bliss of God’s pure light.
