Embers

Within the embers of this night a memory lives on of a time when the sun rose, lighting up my world and all, because of you; Summers of our past linger in my mind as winter comes anew; I recall the fireplace talks and sweet surrenders, of our blessed union; You came to me, a sweet vision of something long sought never did I think I could ever hold someone like you, in fond embrace; This reverie born in spring endures through every season these dreams remained in the realm of grace, so did our sacred love; When the dawn arises to shed light upon the room, I am left with the reality you left me...far, far too soon. Thanks go to Mystic Rose Rose, Caren. She was a fantastic partner. In fact, she came up with the theme. We worked together on everything else. She also came up with the illustration. Proud of her!

I cannot have created the image as well, you curtailed, detailed and conjoined. Always on hand if you feel inspired for another one. :) take care

Thanks, Gershon. Mystic Rose Rose made a good partner. Credit for the theme, design, layout, publication with picture all belong to her. We both worked on the poem, so it is difficult to tell what belongs to whom.

Very sad read Milton, but the poetry is beautiful, especially the last lines where the dawning sun brings the true reality of a loss gone too soon, a reminder if any, that we must enjoy this moment, for it’s all we’re sure of, cheers David

So true, David. Many of us have experienced this loss, so it resonates deep inside of our souls.

Thanks, Lasaad. The primary theme was Mystic's suggestion, but it's a true collaboration. I could not have expressed it like this without her.
