There's a place whence children dwell amid fairy stories, popcorn rainbows & candied unicorns, which is fine & dandy except when you're supposed to be a grown-ass adult, some people live 'round La-La landscapes without a hint of reality's woefulness, unable to read skywriting on the cosmos If you believe in miracles or that nothing ever changes and love lasts forever and a day or just say, you got a damn ticket because your unicorn was inconveniently double-parked, rest assured thine meter is delusional

Going back to read some of my Fav'd poems. Such a clever write. Delusional? Sometimes it suits me.

What an adorably adult fairy tale. I love the reversed title. A wonderful write.

Ok I give up on the title. But the reality check is a real kick in the head. VERY differently from your other work. Your language command is of the screen

I really love the style of this poem..and indeed says so much..Yes.I do believe.there is a border line between the dull real world and the beautiful fancy llala land one..To be honest..sometimes its nice to escape to that land when the.world.is surrounded with too many buttheads and mongrels who ruin our day..Gonna favour this..Really can hear you roar : )

oh Paloma, this is fantastic. I love this style you wrote in. Modern and practical and fanciful all at the same time!

Are the tickets made of candy too? Haha. I'm always double-parked in candy land. Sweet pen Paloma.

I used to play on a game site called Psychobabble...worse mistake of my life. It was filled with delusional people. Perhaps that's where my illusions of love began. The drama there make PS babblings look like recess time in kindergarten. All that aside, interesting concept, Paloma.

Great sock-it-to-'em poem, Paloma. Y'know how it is w/some people, reality sucks. Make believe is so much more comforting than the real perils of this world. But you put 'em all on blast. Very strong voice coming out of this poem. You know I like that kind of poetry. Love your work always. Love and peace to you. RW

Okay, I held a mirror up to the screen so I could read the title but then couldn't read the poem. :) Talk about fractured fairy tales, yep, this ain't your grandma's Hansel and Gretel. This is like Candyland on steroids. Actually, this is very cool Paloma. Your words paint visions in the most vivid colors.

Laughing out loud here, Candyland on Steroids, that would have made a great title! :)
