Einstein's Bent Lines

Though we hail Albert E.’s creativity For his grand tour de force, relativity, It remains a tough climb To imagine space-time With its axes not fixed but all pivoty.

Couldn't agree with you more, Ed.... And 100 years later, his theory still doesn't touch the life of anyone other than fellow physicists and extreme science fiction acifionados (like me)...Moreover, even Einstein himself blanched at the idea of black holes, which his theory predicted---and clearly he's now seen as 'cowardly there. So much for the 'great Albert.' I'll take Jonas Salk over Einstein any day of the week, even if I am comparing apples and oranges, so to speak! :) gw

I hope you didn't take my limerick as trying to detract from Einstein's genius. It's really my way of praising it.
