You'll pick up the sound of gray footfalls echoing through empty halls, but you'll not hear a laugh or bell, just a soft moan from a well, and a tune, whistled by each bone through which the wind has blown.

Quite spooky actually! I love that! Such descriptive phrases and so much said in few words. That's talent. Xoxo

Congratulations on your writing! I was trying to decipher this one. I have never had an EEG done before, and it had such a strong auditory appeal—every line. I started wondering about what that procedure is like. Good stuff, David.

hi Trina - thanks for your kind feedback! I haven't had one and don't know much about it, but I think it's when they measure your brain waves and put it on a graph - a way to measure your brain's health. I called it EEG, because it was supposed to represent the inside of someone's brain - I think it's a little grim.

Thanks, Terry! I kind of liked it too. I entered something else in Constance's contest. I might enter it in the next round of Line's 6 liner contests.
